Having almost two decades of a career in racing, (Man y’all are getting old) and to have competed in all 3 elite divisions of NASCAR – the NASCAR Camping World Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and then retired in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series – I’m very grateful for all of my successes!
But… my passion for racing was always second to my passion for the great outdoors. It’s no surprise that Pikes Peak Raceway was one of my favorite tracks to visit on the road. Taking a scenic route up the beautiful Pikes Peak Mountain was as important as racing around the track during our time there!

When we began the process of a new design with Schumacher Homes, we were quite impressed when a new home design came about that had a spectacular covered porch and huge large windows that would just take your breath away. We knew this home deserved a name that showcased its grand nature and detail, naturally being inspired by the amazing landscapes we’ve seen in our past. The only name that could truly do this home justice would be… PIKES PEAK!
As with everything Schumacher Homes does, the grand opening was AMAAAAAAZZZZZIIIINNNGG!
Like us, the Schumacher gang loves to entertain so we had live music and even a cartoonist to “sketch” a keepsake to take home! And a home isn’t a home without our pets, so we called on our FURry loving friends to bring their FURbabies and have a FURever good time!!
They greeted everyone as they entered each model home! Now if that doesn’t make you feel at home, then nothing will!
The exterior of the Pikes Peak home design is reflected in the new state of art Schumacher Homes Design Studios located in Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Louisiana.
My wife says it’s like shopping for clothes, but for your home instead. At the design studio interactive stations you can mix & match floor, tile, cabinets samples to get your dream home! (So men, they can’t blame us no more if they aren’t happy, they see it before they install it!!)
