Meet “Stella”! She’s my adorable cute baby and the newest member of our four-legged family. She’s a cattle dog mix and she’s super smart!
I may be a little biased, but she really is smart and cute! OMG just look at her!
I’ve begged my parents for a year now to get a puppy, but with all the traveling ans our hectic schedule we have going on, they said “NO!” and did not budge! Finally for my 16th birthday they said “YES!” Yup, that was my gift, they said “yes!” Mom put the stipulations that I had to pay for it and all the responsible things that came with it like food, vaccinations, etc. The BIGGEST stipulation was it HAD to be a rescue pup, which is not a shocker, all of our dogs were in need of a home when we found them.
I went to the local animal shelter and as I expected, I wanted to take them ALL home with me. But little “Stella” (or her shelter name “Lady”) kept pulling at my heart strings. She had a sister with her and I am happy to share that little “Aurora” was adopted too! Yay! Go good people!
They brought her into the room and I instantly knew she was the one!
I went home and got her bed and training kennel all ready for her to come home!
Since then she has traveled to her first overnight rodeo…
Made friends with all my horses…
Sat on mom’s lap and watched me compete…
Loves the pool…
Loves her toys…
And loves to sleep, A LOT!
Did I mention how cute she is?
So anyway, this is “Stella” and you’ll be hearing a lot more about her in our pet blogs, i’m sure!
